Found out the sad news a couple of months ago of Al’s passing away in the spring of this year and just want to say how sorry I was to hear. Hadn’t known in very long (only a few years) but from what I did know of him, such a lovely, warm and friendly person. I had the pleasure of working with him in 2016 at the cancer research charity shop in West Street. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
